25+ YEARS IN MENTAL HEALTH

My work is grounded in science, but I believe meaningful change happens when psychological expertise is combined with genuine human connection.

Therapy is a collaborative process, bringing together my expertise as a psychologist and your expertise in your own life. Together, we’ll make sense of why you’re struggling, understand the patterns that keep you stuck and develop practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change long after therapy ends.

BEYOND THE CV

My qualifications and experience have shaped the psychologist I am, but they’re only part of my story.

As someone who has built a career, grown a business and raised a family while living overseas in Hong Kong, I understand the realities of balancing ambition, motherhood and the many competing demands of modern life.

These experiences don’t make me an expert in your life, but they have deepened my understanding of the many pressures women face as they balance work, relationships, motherhood, ambition and their own wellbeing.

I help clients:

Manage stress and overwhelm

Regulate their nervous system

Overcome perfectionism

Set healthy boundaries

Develop self-compassion

My Approach

My work is grounded in evidence-based psychology, but I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person brings a unique set of experiences, strengths and challenges, which is why I tailor therapy and coaching to your individual needs and goals.

Drawing on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and EMDR, I help clients better understand themselves, overcome obstacles, break unhelpful patterns and develop practical strategies for navigating life’s challenges.

Am I the Right Fit for You?

Finding the right therapist or coach is important. The following may help you decide whether we’re likely to work well together.

Probably YES, if you:

  • Appreciate a structured, evidence-based & goal-oriented approach

  • Value practical tools & strategies alongside insight & understanding

  • Want to better understand yourself & make meaningful, lasting changes

  • Are willing to practise new skills and approaches between sessions

  • Appreciate the flexibility & accessibility of online support

PROBABLY not, if you:

  • Are looking for a quick fix rather than meaningful, lasting change

  • Prefer a completely unstructured or open-ended approach

  • Are unwilling to reflect on & apply new strategies between sessions

  • Are seeking crisis or emergency support

  • Are looking for relationship, couples or family therapy
